TheraCare takes great pride in the educational service we provide to the children
of New York and New Jersey. TheraCare was established in 1991. Our mission was,
and still is, to be a quality provider of speech, occupational, physical, special
education, psychological, and social work services. Today, TheraCare is a large
and prominent home and community based provider of rehabilitative and evaluation
services in the New York metropolitan area.
WORK VISA
This is better known as an
H1B visa and is issued to professionals holding degrees in specialty occupations.
CF (Speech Language Pathologists) falls under this classification and is eligible
for H1B visas. TheraCare will file a petition for qualified applicants. The approval
process usually takes 8-9 months on the average. The work visa is usually good for
3 years and is renewable but only up to a maximum of 6 years total.
SUPERVISION
Clinical Fellows receive outstanding supervision and ongoing support therefore we
pride ourselves on our dedication to supervision. TheraCare supervisors conduct
regular field visits and always available to the Clinical Fellows via phone, fax
and e-mail. Clinical Fellows receive Oral-motor/ feeding, ABA (method to work with
autistic children), and evaluation trainings.

TheraCare offers positions
in Manhattan, Bronx, Queens, Brooklyn, & Staten Island (New York City), Westchester,
