  • Administrative Assistant - Case Management Departm
    Position Description:
    • Pulls files for staff members; processes files and performs data entry of documents necessary to assign cases; maintains audit – worthy files by setting up new charts, filing all documents in open charts, and pulling closed charts
    • Under direction of supervisor, requests, collects and processes all necessary EI documents (prescriptions) into the NYEIS system.
    • Documents in EPP all activities completed and follow-up with all clinicians and Case Managers assigned to each case.
    • Works closely with branch Program Managers and Senior Data Entry Specialist to ensure files are sent out in a timely manner, collecting, saving and copying paperwork, etc.
    • Maintains clinician, client and company confidentiality.
    • Attends meetings and participates in projects related to administrative functions and assists other administrative assistants as required.
    • Responsible for special projects and additional responsibilities as needed.
    • Answers telephones, conveys and takes messages, givse routine information in accordance with established procedures; sends receives, and collects faxed materials for distribution to various staff members; opens, dates, and distributes mail; word processes documents.

  • Paraprofessional
    Position Description:
    Assist teacher with the daily care of students with emotional, cognitive, autism and other special needs.  Their responsibilities may include, but are not limited to the following tasks:

    One-on-one or small group instruction as outlined by the teacher

    Reinforcing behavior through the use of positive behavior support

    Teaching daily living skills such as independent feeding, dressing and toileting

    Aiding occupational therapist, physical therapist speech teachers and adaptive physical education providers during instruction

  • Substitute Teacher
    Position Description:
    Substitute teacher understands that his/her relationship with TheraCare is on a substitute basis, as needed because of the absence of a permanent employee. Substitute teachers are paid at an hourly rate and are not eligible for insurance benefits, holiday pay, and do not accrue vacation or sick leave during the period they are employed as substitutes. Available to work on an on-call basis a total of seven (7) hours.

  • Quality Assurance Manager - Connecticut
    Position Description:

    Description: The QA Manager will be responsible for reviewing various documentation to ensure compliance with B23 standards and for providing feedback to clinical staff. In addition, this person will lend support to providers/service coordinators through in office trainings and direct supervision in the field.

    Responsibilities:

    Documentation review

    tracking receipt of and periodic review of service coordination notes

    periodic review of session notes

    review of eligibility evaluations and progress notes

    review of and tracking corrections of IFSP’s

    participation in audits/self assessments

     

    Training

    Scheduling and administration of Clinical Informing Sessions for new employees

    Attendance at relevant B23 trainings

    Field Supervision

    Support SC/providers in the field (Danbury/Waterbury)

    Complete performance checklist at a minimum two times per year with providers
