Position Description:
We are offering COTAs an opportunity to work in the following programs:

• Early Intervention (EI) Program: will serve the birth to three year old population
• Committee on Pre-school Education (CPSE) program: will serve children 3 to 5 years old in Westchester

Under the supervision of an OTRL, will perform the following duties:

• Assist children with developing and improving fine motor skills and adjustment to disabilities
• Teach individual skills and techniques required for participation in functional and educational activities
• Educate family members and caregivers on different intervention strategies to facilitate active involvement and carry-over at community settings
• Maintain proper documentation to comply with state regulations

Qualifications:
Early Intervention Program

• Must have State of New York certification as an Occupational Therapist Assistant
• Must have at least 1 year pediatric experience

CPSE Program (serving Westchester only)

• Must have State of New York certification as an Occupational Therapist Assistant

Position Description:
Under the supervision of an ASHA certified and state-licensed Speech Language Pathologist, will perform the following duties:

• Provide screening, identification, assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and intervention and follow- up services for children with communication disorders
• Maintain an accurate record of services provided and submit evaluation reports and monthly  progress reports in a timely manner
• Maintain proper documentation to comply with state regulations
  

Qualifications:

• The Applicant must hold a Masters Degree in Speech Language Pathology.
• Bilingual a plus
• New York State applicants only: must have NY state certification as a Teacher for the Speech and  Hearing Handicapped (TSHH) or Teacher for the Speech and Language Disabled (TSLD) to be able  to work in pre-school and school-age settings

Qualifications:

• Must hold a Bachelors Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited school recognized by the AOTA

Position Description:

• Assist children with activities of daily living and school activities through therapeutic intervention
• Provide evaluation and treatment
• Complete clinical progress reports
• Select constructive activities suited to child's physical/ cognitive capavilities. 

Qualifications:
Bacherlor's in Occupational Therapy or equivalent & NYSOccupational Therapy license.

Position Description:

• Provide evaluation and treatment of children in home-based and school-based settings

Qualifications:

• Must hold a Bachelors Degree in Physical Therapy
• Must be licensed in the states of New York, New Jersey or Connecticut.
• Bilingual a plus

Position Description:

• Provide evaluations and/or social histories for children in our Early Intervention and CPSE programs.
• Maintain proper documentation to comply with state regulations

Qualifications:

• Must have a Ph.D. or a Psy.D.
• Must have New York State licensure
• Minimum 1 year early childhood experience

Position Description:

• Provide nursing services in a non-stressful school setting to children in the New York City school system (public, private and parochial schools)
• Nursing positions are also available as school bus escorts, hospitals, clinics and nursing homes throughout New York City
• Paid orientation will be given to nurses before assignments

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 2 years experience in nursing

Position Description:

• Responsible for facilitating the provision of collaborative, family-center, community-based services through the coordination and collaboration among providers of services for families with infants/toddlers with disabilities
• Conducts home visits in accordance with referral to Early Intervention (EI) program
• Maintain extensive documentation to comply with state regulations
   

Must be equipped to perform the SC duties as listed above from the individual's home.  Equipment requirements include:  full computer workstation, internet access, printer, scanner, fax, phone and secure storage for case files.

Must have the following Windows operating systems for remote access compatibility:  Windows Vista, Windows XP, Windows 2007 and/or Mac. Qualifications:

• Must have BA/BS in Psychology, Social Work, Special Education, or Early Childhood Development or other Healthcare Licensed professional
• Must be highly organized and posses superior time-management skills

Position Description:

• Implement principles and procedures of Applied Behavior Analysis to successfully meet goals and objectives as indicated on student’s treatment plans;
• Record data on behaviors and enter it into data system;
• Communicate with other outside care professionals (medical doctors, speech therapists, etc.) if necessary;
• Communicate with supervising BCBA (Board Certified Behavior Analyst) when issues arise on cases;
• Provide consultative and training services to families;
• Present data to supervising BCBA (Board Certified Behavior Analyst) for progress notes and 6 month reports;
• Follow all policies and procedures as indicated;

Qualifications:

• Must complete an 30-hour mandatory training before any cases can be assigned;

• Must undergo a full criminal history background check & clearance;

• BA in Psychology, Human Development, Education, Sociology ;

• Must be available evening and weekends.

• Experience working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorders is a plus.

Qualifications:

• Hold a Bachelor or Masters degree from an accredited institution with a major or concentration in:

             a. infants and toddlers (includes early intervention and early childhood education)
             b. child development
             c. child studies
             d. education
             e. special education
             f. psychology
             g. human development and family relations
             h. related field

• Obtain the Connecticut Birth to Three Infant Toddler Family Specialist Credential with endorsement 1.2.0 or 1.2.3
• Have completed at least 300 hours of practicum or work experience with young children (birth to 8 years old)
