Services provided by TheraCare include, but are not limited to evaluations, assessments, service coordination and all other required services under Part C of the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act such in the home and community by a variety of therapists and educators. These services include various methodologies to meet the needs of each child and their family.
Our skilled professionals work in partnership with each family and their clinical team to create an environment that enhances each child and family’s individual needs.
TheraCare employs professionals trained in various teaching methods and clinical modalities for children with developmental disabilities including children with Autism Spectrum Disorders such as Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) – Verbal Behavior (VB)- Discrete Trial Teaching ( DTT), Natural Environment Teaching (NET) or a combination of one or more methods. Our program is supervised by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBA, LBA).
TheraCare’s teachers and therapists receive initial and ongoing training by our supervisory and administrative support staff to serve children and their families in their natural environment.
TheraCare’s Early Intervention program offers a full array of services designed to maximize the full potential of each child. Our goal is to promote collaborative relationships with parents and family members to strengthen and enhance their child’s development.
We recognize that young children grow and develop within the structure of their family’s routines. As such, providing services within the child’s home and community environment allows for targeting the most meaningful opportunities to enrich the child’s development.
Our goal is to promote collaborative relationships with parents, family members and caretakers so that intervention strategies may take place throughout all naturally occurring routines.
