TheraCare’s Early Intervention Program

TheraCare’s Early Intervention Program

Services provided by TheraCare include but are not limited to evaluation and assessment, and all other required services under Part C of the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act such as family training and home/community visits by a variety of therapists and educators, as well as applying various methodologies to meet the needs of our autism population.

Our skilled professionals work in partnership with each family and their primary health care providers, to create an environment for enhancing their ability to meet their child’s individual needs.

TheraCare employs professionals trained in various teaching methods and clinical modalities for children with developmental disabilities including children with Autism Spectrum Disorders such as Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) – Verbal Behavior (VB)- Discrete Trial Teaching (DTT), Natural Environment Teaching (NET) or a combination of one or more methods.

TheraCare’s teachers and clinicians receive intensive and ongoing training by our full-time supervisory staff and full time administrators support not only our program but also the families we serve. All children are seen in their natural environment.

TheraCare’s Early Intervention program includes:

• Developmental Intervention
• Developmental Intervention with ASD curriculum
• Speech Therapy
• Physical Therapy
• Occupational Therapy
• Family Training
• Social Work

TheraCare’s Early Intervention program offers a full array of services designed to maximize the full potential of each child. Our goal is to promote collaborative relationships with parents and family members to strengthen and enhance their child’s development.

We recognize that young children grow and develop within the structure of their family’s routines. As such, providing services within the child’s home and community environment allows for targeting the most meaningful opportunities to enrich the child’s development.

Our goal is to promote collaborative relationships with parents, family members and caretakers so that intervention strategies may take place throughout all naturally occurring routines.
